DAVAO CITY -- Daredevil Kimboy Pineda of Tagum City used his Suzuki RMZ450 to rule the Pro Open and Expert Open divisions in the 32nd Kadayawan sa Dabaw Cyclomax Motocross held Sunday at the MotoX race track in Barangay Langub.
The 31-year-old Pineda ruled the Pro Open by besting Doy-Doy Bandigan of Mati in the final lap. Third was Ariel Monton Hernan of Sharif Aguak followed by Terence Napat of M’lang and Jessie Pineda as fourth and fifth, respectively.
Pineda also ruled the Expert Open and was also followed by Bandigan. Third was Jeven Lagrada of Agusan del Sur followed by Jessie Pineda and Hernan in that order.
Lagrada, however, shared top honor by topping the Novice Open. Davao’s Norben “Abu” Mata III finished second followed by Bandigan, Davao’s Michael Tapic and Ken Camarillo.
Nino Manacap of Davao won the Novice Lite followed by Davao’s IJ Mercado, Tots Lumapas, LJ Geverola and Abdul Muid Barondon.
