MANILA -- Rain Or Shine banked on a huge second quarter and handed Star its first loss in the PBA Governors' Cup with a 92-88 win at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Sunday night.
The Elasto Painters outscored the Hotshots, 26-15, in the second frame to register a 41-30 halftime lead which they kept for the remainder of the game. However, the Hotshots had a late run that made the final margin close.
