MANILA -- RunRio paid tribute to the runners who diligently finished the entire RunRio Trilogy during the RunRio Trilogy Awards at the Okada Manila Grand Ballroom on Wednesday night.
Hundreds of runners, who according to RunRio managing partner Andrew Neri comprise of only three percent of all the participants in the three races last year, who raced and finished in all the three RunRio Trilogy races were given awards.
RunRio, headed by renowned running coach Rio Dela Cruz, also gave a PHP500,000 donation to YesPinoy Foundation during the event.
RunRio also announced the schedule of the 2018 RunRio Trilogy season.
The first leg, headlined by a 21K race, will take place on March 18, while the second leg that features a 32K run will happen on June 3, while the final leg featuring a full 42K marathon, will happen on Sept. 23.
Cebuano runners need not go to the Metro Manila races as they will have their own trilogy on March 4, May 6, and Aug. 9. (PNA)
