PASAY CITY – Ginebra vented ire on Kia with a 103-77 rout in their PBA Philippine Cup battle at the Mall of Asia Arena on Wednesday night.

Four nights after getting stunned by the NLEX Road Warriors to bring them to a complicated situation, the Barangay dealt the Picanto a beating in the second quarter, limiting them to only 10 points while scoring 28 to blow the game wide open for good.

Greg Slaughter led Ginebra, which tied Phoenix and TNT in fifth place at 4-4, with 14 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.

Scottie Thompson flirted with a triple-double after tallying 14 rebounds, 12 points, and seven assists with one steal.

Jett Manuel had his best game in his maiden season, making eight markers including a four-point play, one carom, and two dimes off the bench.

Prince Caperal made his debut for Ginebra, interestingly against his former team, and tallied six points, five boards, and one steal.

Rashawn McCarthy led Kia, which further slipped to 1-7, with 15 points, six rebounds, and one assist. (PNA)
