DAVAO CITY -- The Davao City Golf Club would be fielding a new line-up in this year’s PAL Interclub Men’s Regular golf tournament slated next month in Bacolod City.

Only three players from last year’s team are seeing action again. They are Reinz Jordan Yamyamin, Edipolo Caturan and last year’s team captain Rodolfo “Apo” Luna.

The new players of Matina are Ernest Damaso, Alvin Tesado, Jerico Bajo JC “Pao” Angeles, Felix Ian Dagatan, Meniio Jun Narciso and new skipper Andrew Bautista.

Last year’s team was also composed of Ludwig Ledesma, Manuel “Jun-Jun” Grandeza, Jerson Lebosada, Richard Badang, Elvie Naranjo, Mark Oropesa and Larry Pasquil.

DCGC carded a total of 375 points to finish third place in the Aviators Division behind champion Shermond Hills (413) and Lumbia (382).

“We hope to win again this year, especially now that there are rumors that the club will already be closed this year,” said Yamyamin of Fore The Boys Club.

The creation of the men’s regular team was again given to the Fore The Boys this year. The DCGC team is flying on March 5 to Bacolod aboard the country’s flag carrier – Philippine Airlines. (PNA)
