MANILA -- Batang Gilas player AJ Edu will get a chance to be trained by NBA players and legends as he will be part of the Basketball Without Borders Global Camp in Los Angeles, California.

The 6-foot-10 center, who was part of Batang Gilas in last year's FIBA 3x3 World Championship, was named into the 41-man shortlist of those who will take part in the youth basketball camp that will coincide with the NBA All-Star Weekend there.

The camp will be held Feb. 16-18 at the Los Angeles Lakers' practice facility as part of NBA All-Star 2018.

Edu and the rest of the participants, which also include 24 female teenage hoop players, will be trained by NBA stars Al Horford and Goran Dragic with some other members of the NBA All-Star teams.

NBA legends Dikembe Mutombo, Michael Cooper, and Rod Strickland will also take turns in teaching the teen ballers.

Aside from the training camp, the BWB Global Camp participants will also get to see the entirety of the NBA All-Star Weekend at the Staples Center. (PNA)
