P1-M, 3 cars up for grabs in 10th Phoenix Open Golf Tourney

DAVAO CITY – A PHP1 million, a Harley Davidson motorcycle, two Tata Manza cars and another brand new car are up for grabs for hole-in-one in the much-awaited annual 10th Phoenix Open Golf tournament, which will tee off on March 17 at the all-weather course of the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club.

“Only 80 slots are left out of the maximum 200 participants,” said organizer Liloh Evangelista.

The registration started Thursday with a fee of PHP7,500 which will allow a golfer to play in three categories -- team, partner and individual.

The giveaways include an Under Armour shirt and cap, A JBL Trip communication and audio system by Harman Kardon and a Phoenix golf umbrella.

All division winners will each receive Royal Selangor Pewter Plate and Phoenix Petroleum fuel cards. The champions will also claim limited edition Phoenix signature golf bags.

Other exciting prizes will also be raffled off during the awarding ceremony.

The proceeds of the Stableford format fund-raising event will go to the company's foundation.
