MANILA -- After four years, the so-called all-time "Kings of All-Filipino" are back in the PBA Philippine Cup Finals.

But awaiting them is arguably the current "King of the Philippine Cup."

That's why Magnolia Hotshots team governor Rene Pardo expects a slam bang affair between his team and San Miguel Beer when their best-of-seven titular series begins on Friday night.

"This will be sports entertainment at its best," Pardo said during the pre-final press conference at the Sambokojin Restaurant in Eastwood, Quezon City on Wednesday.

Both the Beermen and the Hotshots hold the record for having the most numbers of championship lead in the all-Filipino conference at seven and six, respectively, with the former's three-peat enough to overtake the latter's pennants.

However, Pardo vowed that Magnolia will stop SMB from making it an unprecedented four-peat.

"We won't serve them the championship on a silver platter,” Pardo said. "We still want to be champion.”

"We just wish both teams good luck," he added. (PNA)
