MANILA -- In an early Thursday shocker, former national youth team player Ricci Rivero is a De La Salle Green Archer no more.

"All good things come to an end. Thank You to the La Sallian community for the support you've given me. The Animo spirit will always be with me. Its now time to move forward," said the high-flying guard on Twitter.

Rivero, along with elder brother Prince and Brent Paraiso, was in the spotlight last February when reports broke out about the three players' departure from the team.

La Salle clarified that it was just a leave of absence so that they can finish their obligations with their current endorsements.

But with the latest development, at least one of them has indeed left the team for good.

Speculations began to rise too on whether he will also leave the academe and transfer to another school, although Ricci Rivero kept mum about it on social media. (PNA)
