MANILA -- Global Cebu rallied late to salvage a 3-3 draw against Thanh Hoa in their AFC Cup clash at the Rizal Memorial Stadium on Wednesday night.

Despite the result, Cebu was still eliminated from playoff contention as Yangon rallied back to beat Bali, 3-2, in the Burmese capital to clinch Group G and Home subdued Shan, 3-2, in Singapore.

Still, Cebu's comeback was remarkable as the club blew Thanh Hoa's 3-1 lead at the death.

Edward Ofere scored the match's first goal just two minutes in as the Vietnamese side zoomed ahead.

But Rufo Sanchez equalized four minutes later to the delight of the crowd.

Le Thanh Binh silenced Rizal Memorial anew in the 26th minute with a long range bomb, while Ofere completed a brace with a 57th minutegoal for the 3-1 count.

However, Wesley Dos Santos kept Cebu afloat with an 82nd minute header goal, and Darryl Roberts scored the equalizer just a minute away from full time with another header. (PNA)
