MANILA -- TNT Katropa is parting ways with import Jeremy Tyler.
Tyler's agent, Sheryl Reyes, confirmed the development on Twitter on Thursday.
"Unfortunately, with the turn-out of events, TNT will replace Jeremy Tyler. That was his last game. Thanks Jeremy, we wish you all the best," Reyes stated.
Tyler struggled against Ginebra on May 6 despite a win for his team, making only two points.
He bounced back a bit the following Sunday against Alaska, but he only finished with 16 markers as TNT's 3-0 start was snapped in the process.
The KaTropa has yet to announce his replacement as of posting, opening up a possibility that they may play all-Filipino when they take on the still winless Blackwater Elite at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Friday night.
Tip-off is at 4:30 p.m., preceding the Meralco Bolts-Magnolia Hotshots game at 7 p.m.
Vernon Macklin takes his final bow as a Hotshot in their showdown against the Bolts as he is set to fly to China to play there. (PNA)
