MANILA -- On the eve of its return to his home, Kaya Iloilo got three points added to its total without sweat.

The Liga Futbol Inc., the PFL's governing body, awarded Iloilo a 3-0 forfeiture win on Friday after handing out its decision on the postponed Iloilo-Cebu game on May 2.

"Global Cebu FC was found responsible for the abandonment of the said match on May 2, 2018," the league said in a statement, which came right after a meeting by the LFI Board of Directors.

The match was supposed to be Iloilo's first real home game at the Iloilo Sports Complex in Iloilo City that would formalized its move from Makati.

However, Cebu, due to an eventually disclosed financial problem, was not able to travel, leading to the cancellation of the match.

Iloilo now moved up to 19 points after 10 games, getting its sixth win of the season against one draw and three defeats.

Iloilo, now playing its third game at the Iloilo Sports Complex, will host Davao in one of two games scheduled on Saturday at 4 p.m.

On the other hand, Negros will play its third straight game at the Binan Football Stadium in Binan, this time taking on Marikina in the other Saturday game also scheduled for a 4 p.m. kickoff. (PNA)
