MANILA -- Several banks will close most of their branches nationwide on Tuesday for the commemoration of the Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor).

In an advisory Friday, Security Bank Corp. said two of its branches at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and NAIA 3 will operate on the regular holiday.

“For assistance, you may call our Customer Contact Center at 88-791-88 or email us at customercare@securitybank.com,” it added.
Relatively, UCPB said all its branches nationwide will be closed on Tuesday.

“Regular banking operations will resume the next day,” it said, adding that all its branches will be closed on Holy Thursday (April 18) and Good Friday (April 19).

Operations will resume on April 22, it said.

“UCPB ATMs (automated teller machines), internet banking and mobile banking will remain available for clients’ transactions,” it added.

Similarly, the Sy-led BDO Unibank, Inc. (BDO) said all its branches will be closed from April 18 until April 21.

“Regular operations will resume Monday, April 22,” it said.

BDO ATMs, mobile and online banking platforms and debit and card transactions will not be accessible from 8 p.m. on April 19 until noon of April 20 as the financial institution continues to upgrade its system.

“We are advising our clients and the general public to perform their banking transactions ahead of this scheduled activity to avoid any inconvenience,” BDO said.

“Once completed, the system improvement will allow BDO to provide better service to its growing number of clients and offer banking convenience to even more Filipinos,” it added. (PNA)
