TNT clinches Comm Cup finals seat with rout of Ginebra

MANILA -- TNT barged its way into the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals after drubbing Ginebra, 103-92, in Game 4 of their semifinal series at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Thursday night.

The KaTropa zapped the Barangay in the second half, holding them to just 30 points after giving up 62 in the first half.

Terrence Jones put up a triple-double of 24 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists with one steal for TNT, which will await the winner of the San Miguel-Rain Or Shine series in the best-of-seven finals next week.

The Beermen, who hold a 2-1 lead in their own best-of-five series against the Elasto Painters, can seal a championship date with the KaTropa in Game 4, also at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, on Friday night.

Troy Rosario added a double-double of his own with 22 points and 11 rebounds with two assists and one steal.

Jayson Castro chipped in 20 points, six rebounds, three assists, and one steal.

Justin Brownlee and Japeth Aguilar each put up 27 markers for Ginebra, which was dethroned as the Commissioner's Cup champion.
