MANILA -- Edward Kelly found himself at the losing end again after falling to China's Xie Bin at One: Dawn of Heroes at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Friday night.
Xie's victory, however, was not that impressive as he won via technical decision after their fight was called off in Round 2.
Xie incurred an unintentional foul late in the round after accidentally striking Kelly at the back of his head while trying to go for the ground-and-pound, forcing the referee to call off the fight after Kelly could not continue.
Meanwhile, Japan's Ayaka Miura pulled off a second-round Americana grapple to submit Brazil's Samara Santos.
On the other hand, James Nakashima, Muhammad Aiman, and Miao Li Tao scored unanimous decision victories against Yushin Okami, Sunoto, and Pongsiri Mitsatit respectively. (PNA)
