MANILA -- Geje Eustaquio and Honorio Banario suffered tough losses against separate opponents at One: Dawn of Heroes at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay on Friday night.

Eustaquio fell to Japan's Yuya Wakamatsu, while Banario bowed to South Korea's Park Dae-Sung.

In the One Flyweight Grand Prix reserved bout, Wakamatsu rocked Eustaquio with a right hook that knocked him out at the 1:59 mark of Round 1.

Wakamatsu is now a stand-in in the Grand Prix should one of the semifinalists get injured ahead of the final at One: Century in Tokyo.

Danny Kingad battles Reece McLaren in an essential all-Filipino showdown, while Demetrious Johnson battles Tatsumitsu Wada in the semifinals later Friday.

On the other hand, Banario could not recover from a near knockout in Round 1 and lost to Park vis unanimous decision.

Meanwhile, Daichi Takenaka of Japan stunned Leandro Issa of Brazil with a sensational knockout win. (PNA)
