MANILA -- TNT once again got the upper hand in the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals after trouncing San Miguel, 115-105, in Game 3 of the finals at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Friday night.

The KaTropa began overturning things in the second quarter, outscoring the Beermen, 37-17, to convert an 18-33 deficit after the first quarter into a 55-50 lead by halftime even as they looked to pull away in the third period after stretching the lead to eight, 86-78, at the end of the quarter.

SMB tried to mount a comeback after starting the fourth quarter with five straight points to cut the lead to just three, 86-83, but TNT broke loose afterward.

Terrence Jones put up 37 points, 18 rebounds, nine assists, and five blocks for the KaTropa, who are now 2-1 up in the best-of-seven series.

RR Pogoy added 29 points, eight rebounds, and two assists.

Chris McCullough and Junemar Fajardo each scored 27 points and 13 rebounds for the Beermen.

Game 4 is set on Sunday night back at "The Big Dome". (PNA)
