MANILA -- Alaska scored another explosive guard in a trade that was approved by Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Commissioner Willie Marcial on Friday.

The Aces took the services of Maverick Ahanmisi from the Rain Or Shine Elasto Painters for Ping Exciminiano.

ROS also got one of Alaska's first-round picks in the upcoming draft.

The Aces will send whichever among their two first-rounders will come later in the draft, either their own pick or the one they acquired from the Phoenix Fuel Masters in the trade for Calvin Abueva.

Ahanmisi is expected to be healthy again come the Governors' Cup following a toe injury that kept him away from play for most of the Commissioner's Cup.

Exciminiano, on the other hand, is heading to only his second team in his PBA career after playing for Alaska for his entire career prior to the trade. (PNA)
