MANILA -- Four flights between Manila and Busuanga were cancelled on Friday afternoon due to bad weather, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) reported.

These flights were M8 715/716, and M8 713/714 Manila-Busuanga-Manila.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the southwest monsoon is affecting the western section of Luzon and the Visayas.

The southwest monsoon is causing scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over these areas, it added. (PNA)
