LIPA CITY, Batangas -- Despite missing out on a playoff spot in the FIBA 3x3 Sukhbaatar Challenger, Isabela City will still walk away with some cash as Franky Johnson won the two-point shootout on Saturday.

Johnson shocked hometown favorite Ulzii-Orshikh Myagmarsuren, 14-12, in the final to become the first Filipino to win the shootout in a 3x3 challenger held in Mongolia.

Johnson won one million Tugrik (almost PHP19,500) in the contest.

As a bonus, Chooks-To-Go decided to give Isabela City 60 points in the Chooks-To-Go Pilipinas 3x3 Magiting Cup for its stint in the Sukhbaatar Challenger. (PNA)
