Catalan KOs Cuban foe at ONE: Masters of Fate

MANILA -- Robin Catalan delivered a knockout that rocked the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City at ONE: Masters of Fate on Friday night.

Catalan connected on a right kick to the head of Cuban opponent Gustavo Balart that knocked the latter out at the 4:43 mark of Round 2.

Catalan moved up to 10-6 with the stoppage win, while Balart fell to 8-4.

Meanwhile, Kim Jae-Woong of South also scored a knockout win against Brazil's Rafael Nunes even as Tukkatatong Petpayathai of Thailand edged Hiroaki Suzuki of Japan via split decision.

Yoshitaka Naito of Japan also defeated Pongsiri Mitsatit of Thailand via unanimous decision, Li Kai Wen of China knocked out Indonesia's Paul Limihi, and Thailand's Stamp Fairtex turned back United States-based Vietnamese opponent Bi Nguyen via unanimous decision. (PNA)
