MANILA – The United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) has encouraged its Luzon-based clients to meet their banking services requirements via its mobile and online platforms.

Select branches are open on shortened banking hours during the duration of the enhanced community quarantine in the main Luzon island.

In a statement Tuesday, the bank said it is operating on skeletal workforce in Luzon but all branches in the Visayas and Mindanao are ready to serve clients in full force.

“Still, we highly encourage all our clients to stay home and use our online and mobile banking facilities via https://www.ucpb.com/connect/ to monitor their account, pay bills, transfer funds and buy phone load,” it said.

The bank said its automated teller machines (ATMs) and cash deposit machines in select branches in the National Capital Region (NCR) are also operational to date.

“The overall safety and protection of everyone is of paramount importance to us. Rest assured that we will continue to work with our clients within the guidelines of health and safety during this challenging time for our country and for the world,” it added. (PNA)
