MANILA -- The Department of Health on Tuesday reported 45 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), bringing the total number of cases in the country to 187.
In its 4 p.m. medical bulletin, the DOH also reported another Filipino who recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number to four.
The fourth recovered patient is a 31-year-old Filipino male from Negros Oriental who was confirmed positive on March 9.
He is one of the repatriates from the M/V Diamond Princess Cruise Ship who was tested positive for the disease.
The Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital confirmed that he tested negative twice for Covid-19 and will be discharged within the day. (PNA)
