MANILA – Oil firms announced adjustments on their pump prices starting Tuesday.

In separate advisories, Chevron Philippines (Caltex), Petro Gazz, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, PTT Philippines, Seaoil, and Shell said they will increase gasoline prices by PHP0.75 per liter and will reduce diesel prices by PHP0.10 per liter.

Chevron, Seaoil and Shell will also decrease kerosene prices by PHP0.60 per liter starting 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.

The firms said the adjustments reflect the movement in oil trading in the world market.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies started to cut their production this month to counter falling global oil prices. (PNA)
