MANILA – Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) commissioner Willie Marcial will meet with selected players and the board of governors separately this week to discuss the planned "bubble".

The professional basketball league is eyeing a bubble just for its 45th season to resume, and the two meetings will be important in shaping it up.

Marcial on Sunday said the players' meeting would give the PBA stars an avenue to share their thoughts and suggestions on the bubble.

"Mahalaga ang input nila (Their input is important) especially they're the ones going to play and entertain the PBA fans," Marcial said.

Marcial may present the players' cases to the PBA board in its Thursday meeting to further build up the bubble.

The PBA board is expected to decide on which type of bubble will be used and where it will commence.

During its last meeting on Friday, the board trimmed down the choices of the possible bubble locations to three, although Marcial did not disclose the shortlist.

The PBA is planning to resume its season the soonest by Oct. 9. (PNA)
