CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) opened on Thursday a Negosyo Center in Bacolor, this province to help more micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.
DTI Regional Director Judith P. Angeles, together with Bacolor Mayor Edgar Datu, led the formal opening of the Negosyo Center, the 18th in this province.
Also present were Bacolor Vice Mayor Wilfredo Balingit, and the DTI Pampanga team headed by Provincial Director Elenita Ordonio.
Angeles said the Negosyo Center will be assisting local MSMEs through business registration assistance, business advisory services, business information and advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation.
She expressed confidence that the municipality will be more progressive with the launch of the Negosyo Center.
She likewise said that this is also DTI’s response to help MSMEs survive amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Datu, for his part, thanked the DTI for putting up the Negosyo Center in his town that could help open opportunities to those who are interested in establishing their own business.
He said the Negosyo Center will definitely benefit these MSMEs. (PNA)
