MANILA – Ray-Ray Parks exploded in his Philippine Basketball Association season debut as TNT Tropang Giga deposed Terrafirma Dyip, 112-101, at the Angeles University Foundation Sports and Cultural Center on Tuesday night.

Parks, who sat out the Tropang Giga's previous game against the Alaska Aces to rest his injured calf, went for 40 points on 13-of-18 shooting as the PLDT franchise led the Dyip from the opening tip until the end, although the latter had some offensive game going in the fourth quarter.

Parks also tallied 11 rebounds, five assists, one steal, and one block as his team moved up to 2-0 in the standings.

This is the second straight time a TNT player dropped 40 markers as RR Pogoy erupted for 45 in its season-opening win over Alaska.

Pogoy was held to 11 points this time, although he had nine rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one block.

Troy Rosario added 20 markers, 15 boards, five dimes, one block, and one steal.

CJ Perez fired 30 points, six rebounds, and three steals for Terrafirma, formerly known as Columbian. (PNA)
