MANILA – Lito Adiwang bounced back from his tough loss last year in style after knocking out Namiki Kawahara in the first match of ONE: Unbreakable at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Friday night.

Adiwang was unfazed by the reigning Deep strawweight champion, who replaced supposed opponent Hexigetu on short notice, all fight long.

He averted Kawahara's takedown attempt and banked on his kicking prowess to keep the Japanese fighter at bay in Round 1.

The end came at the 2:03 mark of Round 2 when Adiwang connected on a left hook that knocked Kawahara out, prompting the referee to stop the contest.

Adiwang moved up to 12-3 with seven knockouts, while Kawahara fell to 7-4-2. (PNA)
