MANILA – As the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) has been extended in the National Capital Region (NCR) and four nearby provinces until April 11, budget carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) on Monday announced the cancellation of more domestic flights.

Only essential travel is allowed while Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal are under ECQ. This prompted CEB to cancel a number of its flights.
Affected passengers may rebook their flights at no additional cost; or store the ticket amount in a virtual wallet. They may also opt for a refund.
Meanwhile, AirAsia Philippines announced on Monday that it would continue to fly essential travelers.
The carrier, however, reminded passengers of the temporary suspension of inbound travel to Region 6 (Kalibo, Bacolod, Iloilo) until April 10, as approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases. (PNA)
