Curry scores season-high 50 points as Warriors beat Hawks

ANKARA – Stephen Curry scored an NBA season-high 50 points to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 127-113 win over the Atlanta Hawks late Monday.

Curry also played with nine 3-pointers, 10 assists and seven rebounds, Jordan Poole finished with 16 points and Andrew Wiggins added 13 points for the Warriors as they continued their impressive start to the season with a 9-1 win-loss record.

Trae Young had 28 points and nine assists, John Collins scored 19 points in Hawks' fourth loss in a row.

Lakers topple Hornets 126-123 in overtime

The Los Angeles Lakers secured a 126-123 overtime win over the Charlotte Hornets.

Anthony Davis was dominant with 32 points and 12 rebounds as Carmelo Anthony came off the bench to add 29 points for the LeBron James-less Lakers.

Terry Rozier led the Hornets with 29 points and LaMelo Ball had 25 at Staples Center.

Following this victory, the Lakers improved to a 6-5 win-loss record while the Hornets were dropped to a 5-7 slate.
