ANKARA – Free-agent guard Goran Dragic completed his move to the Brooklyn Nets for the remainder of the season, the franchise announced on Tuesday.

"The Brooklyn Nets have signed free agent guard Goran Dragic. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released. In a related transaction, Brooklyn has requested waivers on guard Jevon Carter," the Nets said.

The 35-year-old Slovenian guard was sent to San Antonio Spurs from the Toronto Raptors at the NBA trade deadline.

He entered free agency following his agreement to a contract buyout with the Spurs.

Dragic averaged 8.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists this season.

He was named an All-Star in the 2017-2018 season with the Miami Heat. (Anadolu)
