Dumaguete's 7th most wanted nabbed

DUMAGUETE CITY – Police operatives arrested on Thursday the 7th most wanted person here by virtue of a warrant of arrest in relation to a child abuse case.

A report from the Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office (NOPPO) identified the accused as Gerry Nodado Gloriana, 45, from Barangay Barbara in Zamboanga City who is currently residing here.

He was arrested around 12:55 p.m. at his residence in Purok Antipolo, Barangay Junob in this Negros Oriental capital.

The suspect is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act.

The warrant of arrest was issued by Acting Presiding Judge Leah Partosa Villarubia of the Regional Circuit Trial Court, 7th Judicial Region, B-13 in this city.

Bail has been set at PHP200,000 for his temporary liberty. (PNA)
