ISTANBUL – Two trains collided at a station in Barcelona Wednesday, hurting more than 150 people.
Most of the hurt suffered mild injuries, the Medical Emergencies System of Catalonia said in a Twitter post.
Spanish state-owned operator Renfe said a train crashed into another one from behind at the Montcada i Reixac station at about 7:50 a.m. (0650GMT), the news agency EFE reported.
Both trains run on Renfe’s R4 suburban line, which is currently closed to rail traffic, along with two other lines, R7 and R12.
Investigations have started to determine the cause of the accident, the report added. (Anadolu)
