KORONADAL CITY – The Police Regional Office (PRO) 12 (Soccsksargen) is expected to perk up its operations with the opening of its PHP6.7 million multi-purpose building and the arrival of 13 new police cars on Thursday afternoon.
“This new building facility and a fleet of police cars will strengthen our ability in our campaign against criminality and improve the efficiency of our police service,” Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg, PRO-12 director, said in a statement Friday.
Macaraeg received the brand new police cars, valued at PHP2.5 million each, from Maj. Gen. Ronaldo Olay, the Philippine National Police director for logistics, at the PRO-12 headquarters in General Santos City.
During the same program, Olay led the unveiling of the newly constructed building that will serve as a venue for training, meetings, and other administrative and operational activities of PRO-12.
Macaraeg expressed hope that the new building would help boost the morale of PRO-12 personnel under a quality work environment that is essential for office operations and other needs. (PNA)
