Swiatek to face Muchova in French Open women's final

ANKARA – Polish top seed Iga Swiatek will play against Czech Republic's Karolina Muchova, who is World No. 43, in the 2023 French Open (Roland Garros) women's singles final on Saturday.

Defending champion Swiatek beat Brazil's Beatriz Haddad Maia, 6-2, 7-6 (9-7), in a Thursday semifinal match at the Court Philippe-Chatrier in Paris.

Muchova eliminated World No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka, 7-6 (7-5), 6-7 (5-7), 7-5, in another women's semifinal match.

The French Open will end with men's singles final on Sunday. (Anadolu)
