LEGAZPI CITY- The Police Regional Office in Bicol (PRO5) on Monday arrested a high-value individual and seized PHP1 million worth of shabu in Naga City.
In a report on Tuesday, Lt. Col. Malu Calubaquib, PRO5 spokesperson, said the suspect, Emmanuel Aslor, 39, of Barangay San Nicolas in Iriga City, Camarines Sur, was arrested during a buy-bust in Barangay Triangulo at around 7:34 p.m.
“The law enforcement team found and confiscated 150 grams of shabu sealed in two transparent plastic sachets and one knot-tied plastic from his possession,” Calubaquib said.
She said the suspect, along with the seized evidence, has been placed under the custody of Police Station 5, Naga City Police Office, for proper disposition.
The arrest of the suspect is a testament to the unwavering efforts of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in combating illegal drugs in the region, Calubaquib said. (PNA)
