MANILA – The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has warned the public against printed copies of the previous edition of its Handbook on Workers' Statutory Benefits that are being sold online.

In an advisory posted on social media on Friday, the DOLE said the handbook cannot be reproduced for commercial purposes without its permission.

“It has come to the Department's attention that printed copies of the previous edition of the Handbook on Workers' Statutory Benefits are being sold online,” the agency said.

“The Department would like to reiterate that the Handbook should not be reproduced for commercial purposes without the written permission of the DOLE,” it added.

The agency also warned those who were found to be engaged in the selling of the handbook will be dealt with accordingly.

“All unauthorized sellers will be dealt with accordingly,” it said.

At the same time, the DOLE advised the public that the present version of the handbook is available online for free.

“The 2023 version of the Handbook is now available and may be downloaded for free through this link: https://bit.ly/2023DOLEHandbook,” it added. (PNA)
