MANILA – A dry run for a new traffic scheme will be implemented along ADB Avenue in Ortigas Center, Pasig City starting next week.

In an advisory Friday, the Department of Public Works and Highways–National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) said the activity will be conducted in preparation for the active transport improvement project planned for the area.

“The dry run activities will be done to pave the way for the proposed active transport improvement project for bike lanes, to be executed in the said area by the Department of Transportation (DOTr),” it said.

It advised motorists to expect changes in traffic flow "due to some lane reconfiguration.”

The agency said the new traffic scheme will ensure improvement of road safety and convenience for all road users.

The project is part of the DOTr’s Active Transport Program being implemented through the DPWH-NCR and in collaboration with the Ortigas Center Association, Inc. (PNA)
