MALASIQUI, Pangasinan – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has increased its services in the Ilocos Region as part of its Civil Registry System Information Technology Project (CRS-ITP) Phase II.

In a virtual forum hosted by the Philippine Information Agency Ilocos Region on Monday, PSA-Ilocos statistical specialist Joseph Estoesta said the additional services include the issuance of certificate of no death (CENODEATH), Viewable Online or the online viewing of documents, DocPrint or document printing, and electronic endorsement.

CENODEATH confirms that an individual’s death record does not appear on the database; Viewable Online is similar to the issuance of a PSA certificate sans the printed copy and instead a link to the document is given to the requesting party; while DocPrint is an add-on services to the Viewable Online service.

Estoesta said those who avail of the Viewable Online have within 60 days to view the document.

He said CRS-ITP aims to enhance service delivery through faster processing; and covers the development of application systems, provision of hardware and software, and the conversion of documents into digital formats. (PNA)
