MANILA  Warm weather and isolated rains caused by the easterlies will prevail across the country on Tuesday, a forecaster said.

"Rains will only last for a short period," added Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecaster Benison Estareja.

PAGASA forecast a minimum of 24 °C and up to 33 °C temperatures to prevail across the archipelago.

Estareja said Metro Manila and Davao are forecast to experience up to 33 °C temperature.

The bureau said localized thunderstorms would also cause isolated rain showers. Severe thunderstorms may also result in flash floods and landslides.

Meanwhile, Estareja said no tropical cyclone is expected to enter the country in the next days.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over the eastern section of the country.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas. (PNA)
