ILOILO CITY – Police agents in Western Visayas seized about 600 grams of shabu valued at PHP4.08 million following a drug bust operation in Brgy. So-oc in this city’s Arevalo district early morning of Friday.
The operation conducted by the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit also resulted in the arrest of a high-value suspect alias “Borgok.”
Police recovered 23 sachets containing suspected shabu, buy-bust money and other non-drug evidence from the suspect.
“The arrested person is now under the custody of ICPS - 6 (Iloilo City Police Station - Arevalo) for proper disposition. He will be facing a case for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002,” according to the press release issued by the Police Regional Office Western Visayas. (PNA)
