Diesel prices up, kerosene down

MANILA – Oil companies will adjust pump prices of petroleum products starting Dec. 19.

In separate announcements on Monday, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, PTT, Seaoil and Shell announced a PHP0.10 per liter increase for diesel.

However, Caltex, Seaoil and Shell will reduce kerosene prices by PHP0.85 per liter.

Last week, oil companies implemented a decrease in the prices of gasoline by PHP1.60 per liter, diesel by PHP1.85 per liter, and kerosene by PHP1.40 per liter.

The Department of Energy said that as of Dec. 12, price adjustments resulted in a year-to-date net increase of PHP11 per liter for gasoline, PHP3.85 per liter for diesel and P0.54 per liter for kerosene. (PNA)
