More cold mornings across PH due to 'amihan'

MANILA – The northeast monsoon or “amihan” will continue to bring cold mornings in most parts of the country over the weekend, the weather bureau said Saturday.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the temperature in Baguio City will range from 10°C to 21°C on Saturday and 11°C to 21°C on Sunday.

The temperature in Matro Manila will range from 19°C to 29°C; Laoag City, 17°C to 30°C; Tagaytay City, 17°C to 27°C; Tuguegarao City, 16°C to 26°C; and Legazpi City, 21°C to 27°C.

Meanwhile, the temperature in Metro Cebu will range from 24°C to 31°C; Puerto Princesa City, 26°C to 30°C; and Metro Davao, 23°C to 32°C.

PAGASA said Quezon, the Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Oriental will experience cloudy skies with light rains, while the rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Strong winds and rough coastal waters will be felt over Southern Luzon, the Visayas, and the northern and eastern sections of Mindanao.

The rest of the archipelago will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas. (PNA)
