MANILA – Two weather systems – the northeast monsoon or "amihan" affecting extreme northern Luzon and the easterlies – will bring rain showers in several parts of the country.
In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said light rain showers due to the northeast monsoon would dampen the northern provinces of Batanes and Cagayan.
Isolated light rain showers are also forecast in the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, and Cagayan Valley.
Due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms. (PNA)
