MANILA – Warm and humid weather will continue to prevail across the country, a weather forecaster said Tuesday.

"No cloud clusters that could cause rains were monitored," added Rhea Torres of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

She said the ridge of a high-pressure area (HPA) extending over the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon decreases the chances of rains across the area.

Torres, however, said isolated rain showers are still likely, especially the afternoon or evening.

"Generally fair weather will prevail, with isolated rain showers that could last from 30 minutes to two hours," she said.

Tuguegarao's temperature could reach up 36 °C, and up to 34 °C in Metro Manila.

Up to 35 °C temperature is forecast in Zamboanga, up to 34 °C in Kalayaan Islands, Puerto Princesa, and Davao.

"We continue to advise the public to bring an umbrella and (drinking) water when going out," Torres said.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas continue to prevail across the archipelago. (PNA)
