3 'high-value' drug suspects nabbed, P3.4M shabu seized in Rizal town

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Calamba City – The Police Regional Office-Calabarzon (PRO4A), which is headquartered here, announced that lawmen in Binangonan, Rizal arrested three notorious drug personalities and seized from them over PHP3.4 million worth of shabu on Friday morning.

The suspects were nabbed from their lair during a buy-bust operation that took place in Sitio San Jose, Barangay Tayuman. 

In an online post, Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas, PRO4A regional director, commended the Binangonan Police Station’s Municipal Drug Enforcement Team for the successful operation that led to the capture of three suspects, all of whom are listed as “high-value individuals” in the police’s drug watchlist.

They were identified only as “Abul,” “Norodin” and “Noraidah,” who are residents of Cavite and Batangas.

Lucas said tipsters in the community had a role in the capture of the alleged drug traffickers.

“I am grateful to our brave and hardworking drug operatives in Binangonan. I would also like to thank our community for lending their hand in our pursuit of a drug free community,” Lucas said in his post.

Recovered from the suspects were plastic sachets containing a combined 502.3 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of PHP3.4 million as well as the marked money used by undercover lawmen.

The arrested suspects and recovered pieces of evidence are now under custody of Binangonan Municipal Police Station for processing and documentation prior to the filing of formal charges. (PNA)
