CALAMBA CITY, Laguna – The Rizal Provincial Police Office (RPPO) on Saturday announced the arrest of two individuals listed among Calabarzon’s most wanted for the heinous crimes of murder and multiple rape.

Col. Felipe Maraggun, director of the RPPO, told reporters that a construction worker identified as “Muklo,” who has been on the run for murder, was arrested in Taytay on Friday.

Later the same day in Tanay, authorities caught “Aubrey” who has been evading two counts of rape.

Both suspects were arrested based on warrants issued by the Regional Trial Courts in Antipolo City and Morong, respectively.

"The successful apprehension of these suspects reflects the unwavering commitment of the Rizal police to their sworn duty," Maraggun said.

The suspects are currently locked up in detention facilities in Taytay and Tanay towns, pending further legal proceedings. The courts offered no bail. (PNA)
