MANILA – A cleaner turned over to the management of Laguindingan Airport in Misamis Oriental on Monday a bag containing PHP50,000 which he found in a pushcart.

Joshua Bustamante found the bag at around 7:20 a.m. in the arrival area and immediately informed the management to locate the owner, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

A female passenger from Manila claimed the bag at around 9 a.m., CAAP added.

CAAP commended Bustamante for his integrity and professionalism.

"His actions exemplify the highest standards of honesty and service we uphold. Mr. Bustamante’s dedication and values inspire all airport employees, reminding us of the goodness and integrity present in our busy environment," CAAP Area 10 Manager Job De Jesus was quoted as saying. (PNA)
