MANILA – The city government of Manila has turned over certificates of lot award to a total of 133 residents from two villages.

Mayor Honey Lacuna led Friday's distribution to recipients from Barangay 210 and Barangay 152, held at the Pamana Covered Court and M. Guizon Basketball Court, respectively, along Maria Guizon St. in Tondo District.

"Iba pa rin ang may sariling lupa. ‘Yan ang pangarap ng bawat isa, ‘yan din ang pangarap naming para sa inyo. The awarding was spearheaded by the Manila Urban Settlements Office (MUSO) and attended by other city and village officials.

Meanwhile, Lacuna lauded the support of First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos for the city's hosting of the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), launched at the city hall's Bulwagang Villegas on Tuesday night.
