BTr raises PHP20-B from T-bills auction

MANILA – The Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) raised PHP20 billion from the Treasury bills (T-bills) auction on Monday.

The BTr fully accepted bids for the T-bills.

The 91-, 182-, and 364-day T-bills fetched average rates of 5.779 percent, 6.014 percent, and 6.108 percent, respectively.

The PHP Bloomberg Valuation Service reference rate was 5.729 percent for the three-month tenor, 6.039 percent for the six-month tenor, and 6.158 percent for the one-year tenor.

The auction was 1.8 times oversubscribed, attracting PHP36.0 billion in total tenders.

With its decision, the BTr raised the full program of PHP20 billion for the auction. (PNA)
